People Operations Specialist - Snr (Senior HRBP)

Reporting into the country Head of HR, the role requires someone with high energy, strong communication skills and enthusiasm. The successful candidate should be an expert at core hr fundamentals while leading change strategically with business leaders.

Job Description (What You Will Do)

• Strategic Business Partnership
• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to the country leadership team, providing strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, succession planning, and performance optimization.
• Translate business objectives into people strategies and action plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  
  

• Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
• Lead and manage employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, misconduct cases, conflict resolution, and employee concerns.
• Provide expert advice on employment legislation, due process requirements, and risk mitigation while ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance. Leading projects to move away from standard case management to long-term strategic approach on employee relations.
  
  

• Change Management & Transformation
• Lead and support organizational transformation initiatives, including new operating models, culture change programs, and digital HR transformation efforts.
• Drive adoption of change initiatives while maintaining operational stability, employee engagement, and compliance requirements.
  
  

• Regional Program Localization
• Partner with regional and global HR teams to adapt and implement enterprise-wide HR programs, policies, and initiatives to meet Malaysia-specific business and regulatory requirements.
• Drive effective deployment and adoption of HR programs locally.
  
  

• Talent Management & Succession Planning
• Facilitate talent review and succession planning processes to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent.
• Build organizational bench strength and partner with leaders to strengthen leadership capability and readiness.
  
  

• Continuous Improvement
• Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance HR effectiveness, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
• Support the evolution of HR practices through innovation, technology adoption, and best-practice implementation
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in any discipline.
  
  

Experience

• Four (4) years relevant work experience in HR or related fields
