The Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing project schedules across multiple construction projects. This individual contributor role focuses on developing and managing construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals, and supporting stakeholders with scheduling insights. The Planning Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to enhance planning efficiency and mitigate delays.

Position Overview
The Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing project schedules across multiple construction projects. This individual contributor role focuses on developing and managing construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals, and supporting stakeholders with scheduling insights. The Planning Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to enhance planning efficiency and mitigate delays.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 to ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Analyze project progress, identify scheduling risks, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Report schedule performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project timelines.
- Conduct delay analysis and propose recovery strategies to maintain project efficiency.
- Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and vendors to validate progress, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Implement improvements and innovations in scheduling processes to enhance project planning and execution.
- Degree in a construction-related field with expertise in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- Experience managing schedules for large construction projects, demonstrating strong technical and planning expertise.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, including the ability to assess and document project delays and changes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making.
