Summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Plant Manager located in Prai, Penang.
Responsible for controlling a single site manufacturing operation, ensuring that production quality and cost targets are met. Duties include production and assembly, quality control, material handling, scheduling, etc. Monitors production processes and the effective use of workforce and equipment, and coordinates production operations with purchasing, sales, engineering, etc.

What a typical day looks like:
- Schedule, organize, monitor, and evaluate the maintenance and upkeep areas of the plant.
- Responsible for supervision and daily monitoring organizational goals to staff.
- Directing the effort to achieve the objectives previously restored and analyzed in the organization.
- Actively participate in the institutional plan for continuous improvement.
- Guide all toward actions to the accomplishment of the organization projects.
- Conduct functions that may be granted for the achievement of objectives of the plant.
- Establish plans and corporate strategic objectives, with the participation of other directors.
- Make final conclusions on administrative and operational problems; ensure the effective achievement of goals of the operation.
- Review budgets and schedules required by corporate boards.
- Maintain relationships with the executives and/or major customers
- Resolve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing management level to achieve the goals of the plant.
- Direct activities covered by their functional area through planning, budgeting, and implementation. Keep costs and retain employees.
- Maintain the profitability of the organization and establish strategic objectives in accordance with the stability of the plant.
- Establish plans and corporate strategies for the organization.
- Responsible for planning area objectives, manages the team and evaluates results.
- Plan, organize and coordinate plant adaptations.
- Direct and coordinate subordinates to achieve objectives.
- Guide the organization for the correct release of the product introduction.
- Provide support to other sites if needed.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in related field; MBA is preferred. Typically requires 11 or more years of industry experience with at least 10 years of experience in Operations Management and at an Executive level.
- Advanced manufacturing.
- Medium ability to command of MS Office Pack.
- Advanced knowledge in Finance and in administration.
- Basic knowledge in accounting.
- Demonstrate advanced ability to decision making, teamwork, results orientation, leadership, analytical capacity, troubleshooting
- High proactive attitude.
- Advanced skills in effective communication.
