About the role

Work Location Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja Selatan, Shah Alam, Selangor.

Reporting To Assistant Production Manager

Working Hours Shift rotation - Morning (7.00 AM - 3.00 PM) or Afternoon (300PM – 1100 PM) or Evening (1100 PM – 700 AM)

Working Days 5 working days (including weekends) and 2 days off (rotational)

The Production Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations during assigned shifts. This position requires strong technical knowledge to support operational training, monitor production performance, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to drive execution and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Production Executive in overseeing the overall operations of all plants during the assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, operational standards, and site security requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency and optimize productivity across all production activities.
• Support and lead, where necessary, the training and development of plant personnel in all aspects of production operations.
• Partner with the Production Executive to ensure product quality, food safety, and operational excellence throughout the shift.
• Monitor in-process quality activities to ensure products consistently meet required specifications and standards.
• Assist in manpower planning and coordination of contract labour for production lines.
• Supervise finishing line operations to ensure production schedules and delivery timelines are achieved.
• Coordinate and facilitate maintenance activities together with the Maintenance Department to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 procedures, policies, and operational standards.
• Support GMP and HACCP implementation and compliance across production operations.
• Actively participate in and promote 5S initiatives within the assigned production area.
• Ensure all Halal and Kosher requirements are strictly adhered to during production runs.
• Serve as the Assistant Leader of the firefighting team during the assigned shift.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
  
  

Qualifications and skills

• A minimum of a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or ot a related field.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in oleo chemical/chemical process industry.
• Strong technical in ISO 9001 Quality System, ISO14001, GMP, HACCP & 5S is an advantage.
• Should be able to express ideas effectively in both individual and group situations. In addition, he/she should be able to organize and express ideas clearly in written documents.
• Demonstrates an ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
