Production Supervisor (Gourmessa)

Position Overview

The role is responsible to ensure all activities from Oven to Packing area follow standard operation procedure for each shift. To monitor and be responsible for order preparation and cartoning activity at the packing and cartoning area.

Responsibilities

• To monitor cooking oven output and daily total productivity.
• Responsible to ensure daily planning is followed through.
• Responsible to monitor product condition (batch number, appearance) in chiller & freezer, follow FIFO system before transfer for slicing or packing process.
• Responsible for following instructions from Superior.
• Ensure finished products prepared according to forecast/planning/Purchase Order.
• Ensure correct quantity and quality product in good condition before send to customer.
• Ensure all chillers and freezers are clean and organized. Record every room’s temperature according to schedule.
• Inform any information regarding customer orders to Customer Service department.
• Ensure finished product is labeled and identified correctly.
• Ensure all High Risk area in clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure all Process Orders involved in High Risk are completed within the timeframe.
• Responsible for helping superior to maintain and increase product quality
• To arrange cartoning product on the pallet according to FIFO & orderly arrangement.
• Ensure all machineries are safe & in good condition before use.
• Ensure all safety rules & regulations are followed in the production area.
• Responsible to order and monitoring incoming packaging material.
• To monitor all CCP & OPRP established at related working area.
• To perform on-job training related to all production process to subordinates.
• Ensure all subordinates wear uniform and outer garment according to stated regulations.
• To perform any other assigned duties from time to time.
  
  

Education

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ Certificate / Certificate in Food Science or equivalents.

Experience

Experience working in food processing manufacturing.

Skills

• Able to communicate with all level.
• Knowledgeable to handle the machine.
• Able to lead and supervise subordinate.
• Knowledgeable in GMP and HACCP.
• Product knowledge.

Salary Range: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00
