Job Responsibilities:
- Provide necessary business analysis, statistics and other appropriate measures for justifications of project initiation
- Lead, facilitate and coordinate different meetings at various project stage such as concept formulation session, business requirements study meeting, kick off meeting etc
- Develop necessary project plans such as cost and schedule plan, risk management plan, financial plan, resource plan, execution plan, communication plan etc.
- Identify, analyze and document potential cost, risks, gaps and business impacts. Collaborate with other groups and recommend mitigation plan
- Coordinate and educate various groups including internal users and vendors on gaps, issues and mitigation steps in project execution
- Steward project plans and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management
- Document all findings, observations, test scripts, results and recommendations in central repository as part of documentation control to ensure knowledge retention to operations and support personnel
- Spearhead and coordinate with vendors on system transitions and migrations
- Provide training and guidance to other internal groups such as Cards Operations, Retail IT, Sales and Marketing as well as dealers
- Measure and steward necessary ROI post project deployment
- Prepare budget recommendations for upcoming projects, R&D and pilot project activities
- Participate in the evaluation of various hardware, software and systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits to the company
- Formulate retail technology strategy and align with business organizational strategy
- Attend relevant internal and external training/seminars, technical exchanges/conferences and computer exhibits/conventions.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with strong academic performance
- At least three (3) years actual experience in IT project management of card systems and/or POS systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a high aptitude for technology
- Ability to develop innovative technical solutions aligned with business goals and growth
- Proficient in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, cost management, and billing processes
- Effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with non-technical teams
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Microsoft environments, networking (LAN/WAN, Cisco), hardware/software, and system architecture
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), databases, application development, ITSM, and ITIL practices
- Strong understanding of information security, risk management, business continuity and ability to handle IT/security incidents (Payment Card Industry/EMV knowledge is an advantage)
- Self-driven, adaptable with the ability to work independently, lead initiatives and collaborate across all levels
