Job Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from RFQ and new product introduction (NPI) through production implementation and final customer buy-off, ensuring project objectives, timelines, and customer requirements are achieved.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and product requirements, and conduct feasibility studies to determine the most suitable manufacturing processes and technical solutions.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, procurement, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including BOM, ECN, engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant engineering records.
- Develop, review, and maintain engineering procedures in compliance with the company's Management System, quality standards, and Code of Conduct.
- Lead or support APQP and PPAP activities, including the review of PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, ISIR, Cp/Cpk, Cmk, and PSW documentation to ensure customer and quality requirements are met.
- Coordinate and oversee product fitting, functional, electrical, and software testing to verify product performance, reliability, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Monitor project progress against the master schedule, resolve technical and project issues, prepare project status reports and meeting minutes, and drive continuous improvement in project execution and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 2 year of working experience in Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or a related engineering field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering documentation (e.g., BOM, ECN), and project coordination. Experience in SMT, semiconductor, or related manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and other quality tools is an added advantage.
- Willing to work in Senai, Johor.
