A Snapshot of Your Day

Project Manager will be managing projects under Grid technologies Grid Solutions business area. The role will have a single face responsibility with the assigned projects for all products under the Business Area. This position will report to the Head of Grid Technologies Grid Solutions in Malaysia

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Implement the projects to meet the required standard of quality (time, budget, functionality) and ensure business success.
• Act as the customer’s single point of contact for project management of the Transmission Products & Systems. Monitor and drive improvement of Key Performance Indicators (Business area availability & reliability, revenue & gross margin, customer satisfaction).
• Identify appropriate resources needed and ensure that these resources are sufficiently provided to the project.
• Assemble a project team and assign individual responsibilities.
• Engage with internal stakeholder, customers, partners, and team members to plan, schedule, and implement outages, including managing part deliveries, identifying upsell possibilities, and implementing risk mitigation measures as required.
• Create and maintain documentation according to our quality management process.
• Build, grow and maintain strong customer relationship.
• Set an example in driving zero harm culture.
• Proactively providing feedback and suggestions on process improvement and cost reduction.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Proficiency in completing and implementing Transmission Substations Projects in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore
• University degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in project management/operations including technical, financial and contractual in energy transmission.
• Project management experience, preferable with certification from International Project Management Bodies.
• Distinctive communication skills.
• Excellent English & skills to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during projects execution.
