Refinery Coordination Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous supply of product for plant operation and terminal with minimal product quality giveaway
• Coordinate among Supply, Operations and Lab team on vessel line up for products loading and discharge to minimize demurrage and dead freight
• Responsible for weekly run plan towards optimizing higher-value products
• Interface with Operations for loading/discharge preparations and sequences
• Responsible for Mogas blending and Mogas KPIs update
• Responsible for weekly DAT, monthly performance review, weekly Operating highlight and monthly stewardship
• Responsible for Revised product specification e-MOC
• Interface with Maintenance on tank/sphere outage planning
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Chemical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines with CGPA >3.00
• Preferably 2 to 4 years’ experience in refinery industry
• Good understanding and knowledge of work interfaces among Supply, Operations, Process Engineering, Lab and Terminal
• Ability to work independently and work at odd hours/days
• Good interpersonal and people management skills for both lateral and upward interfaces in the company
• Must be willing to work in Petron Port Dickson Refinery, Negeri Sembilan
