Job Description
- Lead financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate audits and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax reporting requirements.
A Successful Regional Accounting Lead Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
