Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.
At Siemens Healthineers, our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions
Role Purpose
Support effective regional applicability and adoption of global Travel & Expense governance by connecting global direction with country-level requirements, local environments, and implementation realities.
The role is structured around three responsibility blocks: Directive Applicability and Country Input, Travel Technology and Process Adoption, and Communication and Training Enablement. Across these areas, the Regional Travel Lead acts as the primary regional consolidation and feedback layer between global ownership and local implementation environments.
The role does not own the global directive framework, global business application ownership, technical system administration, or operational execution in GBS. Instead, it consolidates country input, supports local applicability and adoption of approved changes, and escalates material deviations, risks, and exceptions through defined governance paths.
Key Responsibilities
Directive Applicability and Country Input
Regional interface between global HR OPS, countries/local HR OPS, Finance, Procurement, HR, Compliance, GBS, and service providers, focused on country input, local applicability, adoption support, and structured feedback into the global framework.
Global ownership remains with the relevant governance and business owner roles, while execution in tools and processes remains with GBS or other delivery providers. The Regional Travel Lead supports regional consistency by surfacing local requirements and constraints, connecting stakeholders where needed, and escalating material deviations, risks, and exceptions through the appropriate governance paths.
Core Capabilities
We are a team of more than 73,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries. As a leader in medical technology, we constantly push the boundaries to create better outcomes and experiences for patients, no matter where they live or what health issues they are facing. Our portfolio is crucial for clinical decision-making and treatment pathways.
How we work:
When you join Siemens Healthineers, you become one in a global team of scientists, clinicians, developers, researchers, professionals, and skilled specialists, who believe in each individual’s potential to contribute with diverse ideas. We are from different backgrounds, cultures, religions, political and/or sexual orientations, and work together, to fight the world’s most threatening diseases and enable access to care, united by one purpose: to pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.
To all recruitment agencies:
Siemens Healthineers' recruitment is internally managed, with external support permitted only when a qualified supplier has established a formal contract with us. Unsolicited candidate submissions and referrals, absent a current supplier contract, do not establish consent and are ineligible for fees. We delete and destroy unsolicited information, thus, would recommend you refrain from any such practices. Your adherence to our policies is appreciated.

Key Responsibilities
Directive Applicability and Country Input
- Assess and consolidate regional and local applicability requirements for global directives, governance decisions, and framework changes
- Support local applicability assessment, including legal, tax, works council, compliance, and market-specific considerations, in coordination with the relevant country and functional stakeholders
- Consolidate country input and provide structured regional feedback to support consistent interpretation and practical applicability of approved directives and governance decisions
- Connect GBS, countries, regional stakeholders, and global owners by surfacing local requirements, material deviations, and implementation dependencies that may affect country-version readiness
- Identify deviations, gaps, and required exceptions, support their documentation, and channel them through defined governance and escalation paths
- Support stakeholder alignment across countries and functions for approved directive and governance changes, and help strengthen regional adoption
- Travel Technology and Process Adoption
- Provide structured regional input on local requirements and practical constraints for travel tools and related processes
- Coordinate regional input for Concur and related travel process changes, including country feedback, local dependencies, feasibility considerations, and adoption risks
- Consolidate recurring pain points, user feedback, and usability concerns for the global Business Owner, governance roles, GBS, and other relevant stakeholders
- Support regional alignment and escalation where cross-country issues, service-provider dependencies, or GBS execution impacts require coordinated resolution
- Surface local risks, fragmented approaches, and practical barriers early to improve regional consistency
- The role does not configure, administer, approve, or technically manage travel systems; these responsibilities remain with the relevant system, business application, or delivery owners
- Identify regional communication needs and training implications arising from approved travel governance decisions, process changes, and guidance
- Provide regional input into communication and training materials by identifying local applicability needs, language considerations, adoption barriers, and user understanding gaps
- Support regional readiness and adoption of approved communication and training measures by coordinating stakeholder alignment needs and rollout feedback
- Act as a regional multiplier for traveler-facing guidance by feeding back recurring questions, misunderstandings, and communication effectiveness issues to the relevant global roles
- Collaborate closely with the Communication & Training Lead to ensure communication and training approaches are regionally applicable and support adoption, without owning global training strategy, final content, or global content approval
- Coordinate with governance, business, Communication & Training, local HR OPS, country stakeholders, service providers, and GBS where regional input or rollout support is required

Core Capabilities
- Regional Applicability and Adoption: Translate approved changes into practical regional implications, support adoption, and maintain visibility of local constraints
- Stakeholder and Interface Management: Coordinate input and alignment across global, regional, and local stakeholders, including functions, countries, service providers, and GBS
- Governance and Compliance Discipline: Operate within global guardrails, support consistent interpretation, and channel deviations, risks, and exceptions through defined governance paths
- Clarity and Structured Problem Solving: Surface issues early, synthesize complexity into actionable guidance, and support coordinated resolution
- Approved changes are applied more consistently across countries because local requirements, constraints, and deviations are identified and addressed early
- Regional readiness and adoption are strengthened through clear feedback, stakeholder alignment, and timely escalation of material issues and risks
- Traveler-facing communication and training are more regionally applicable, easier to understand, and better aligned to approved changes
- Fragmented local approaches are reduced through stronger regional transparency, coordination, and feedback loops
