Job Description

  • Job Purpose

A Privilege Banking Relationship Officer is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth (HNW) or affluent clients, providing personalized financial solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The role focuses on deepening client relationships, cross‑selling wealth and banking products, and offering proactive advisory support.

(Supported by typical Relationship Officer roles that include building client relationships, understanding needs, cross-selling, and maintaining customer satisfaction)

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Privilege Banking clients through regular engagement and personalized service.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to ensure products and services remain aligned with client goals.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Privilege Banking products, including investments, insurance, deposits, and loans.
  • Acquire new-to-bank affluent clients through networking and targeted business development activities.
  • Meet assigned financial targets including revenue growth, portfolio balance growth, and relationship retention.
  • Client Onboarding & Advisory Support
  • Guide new clients through onboarding, account setup, and explanation of Privilege Banking privileges and offerings.
  • Understand client financial needs and provide suitable recommendations in partnership with wealth specialists.
  • Service Excellence
  • Ensure all service requests are fulfilled promptly and within agreed turnaround times. ]Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and KYC/AML requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and service logs.
  • Monitor portfolio health and ensure credit exposure is well managed.
  • Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in banking, wealth management, sales, or customer relationship management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset with ability to meet revenue and portfolio targets.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential client information.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital banking tools.
