The Role



As a Researcher, you’ll play a key role in keeping our construction project data accurate, reliable, and up to date for the Hong Kong market. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you’ll spend your time gathering information, speaking with industry professionals, and ensuring our clients can trust the insights we provide.

This is a permanent role, starting with a probation period in line with Malaysian labour regulations. During probation, you’ll take part in a structured 1–4 week training program focused on performance, attendance, and adaptability. You’ll receive close support during this period, and successful completion will confirm your ongoing employment.



This is what you’ll be doing

• Collecting and verifying construction project information from newspapers, tenders, councils, online platforms, and other relevant sources.
• Reaching out to industry professionals by phone and email to confirm project details and build trusted relationships.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our database to ensure clients receive reliable and timely information.
• Managing inbound enquiries and responding within agreed service levels.
• Working closely with colleagues across APAC to align research standards and improve data processes.
• Supporting Hubexo platforms, products, and events when required.
• Assisting new team members by sharing knowledge and supporting onboarding.
• Demonstrating Hubexo values and contributing positively to one global team.

About You



You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

• A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Confident and professional in communicating in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to engage effectively with industry professionals and stakeholders.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and writing clear, concise, and professional emails.
• Curious, resilient, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• A fast learner who enjoys structured training and developing new skills.
• Experienced in customer service, administration, research, or data management (preferred but not essential).
• Familiar with the Hong Kong construction market or business environment (an advantage but not required).
• Ready to work full onsite in Kuala Lumpur as part of a collaborative team environment.
