Sales Engineer (Sabah)

The Role:

Join us as a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth across Sabah by managing key channel partners, including Panel Builders, General Distributors, Residential Contractors, Dealers, and Retailers. This role is responsible for growing market share, developing project opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across the assigned territory.

What will you do?

• Manage and develop channel partners, including distributors, panel builders, dealers, retailers, and contractors to drive sales growth.
• Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, projects, and customers within the assigned territory.
• Build strong relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, and channel partners to influence specifications and secure project wins.
• Drive sell-in and sell-out activities, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement programs to improve channel performance and market penetration.
• Expand point-of-sales coverage and strengthen retail channel presence within Sabah.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and ensure opportunities are updated in CRM systems
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support business growth.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver customer solutions and achieve business objectives.
  
  

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of sales, channel management, business development, or project sales experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience managing distributors, retailers, dealers, contractors, or panel builders is preferred.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of Low Voltage electrical products and solutions is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin and local dialects will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel frequently within Sabah.
