Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and quality of all linens, towels, and other textiles used by the hotel. As a Seamstress, you’re not just ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Perform uniform alterations, repairs, hemming, resizing, and garment adjustments.
• Take accurate measurements and conduct uniform fittings for team members.
• Inspect uniforms and identify items requiring repair or replacement.
• Ensure all completed work meets required quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain sewing machines, equipment, and tailoring supplies in good condition.
• Keep the tailoring area clean, organised, and safe.
• Maintain records of uniform alterations and repairs.
• Support uniform preparation for new joiners, hotel events, VIP occasions, and operational requirements.
• Work closely with HR, Housekeeping, Laundry, and other departments on uniform requirements.
• Handle all uniforms and garments carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Seamstress, Tailor, or Sewing Specialist.
• Strong sewing, alteration, and garment repair skills.
• Good attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
