Job Description

  • Draft, review, proofread, edit, and align communications and content materials within the requisite deadline for all seller-facing communications
  • Identify and understand requirements of internal stakeholders to advise on content and communications materials and recommended comms channels
  • Design and implement a consistent tone and manner for seller communications in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin
  • Support on communications material, content calendar, and communications plan for Shopee-led events
  • Support and advise on content and communications materials for new projects and initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of communications channels and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Journalism/Communications, or related field; experience in the e-commerce industry and business development will be an added advantage
  • 1-2 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, corporate communications or a related area will be a plus
  • Able to travel out-of-state for work-related reasons (including weekends as needed)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent team player and self-drive to always deliver on OKRs
  • Excellent command of English and Bahasa, the ability to converse fluently in Mandarin will be an added advantage to communicate with various stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) / similar Google Office Tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
