Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our fun-loving team based in Malaysia.

What you will do

• Plan and design layout for electrical components on electrical panels in new entrance system products.
• Design electrical and electronics control systems for entrance system products according to specification and international safety standard requirement
• Check and verify electrical design according to specification and international safety standard requirement
• Select suitable electronic products based on design calculation according to design specification
• Design, develop and assemble prototypes for in-house testing
• Prepare test plan for in-house testing
• Prepare details drawing and layout for manufacturing purpose
Work with production team to set up the assembly process and process control plan for electrical assembly related processes

What we require

• At least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience as an electrical engineer, electrical design engineer, or other similar position.
• Able to read and understand design specifications, electrical control schematics and symbols, mechanical and technical drawings
• Ability to create full electrical schematics/ diagram
• Knowledge of IEC, ISO, CE, and UL international standards for electrical design
• Industrial experience with power electronics, low voltage drive, sensor, encoder, and access control (Ex: RFID reader, QR reader) product
• Able to lead changes, a self-starter and able to inspire others
• Highly organized, process driven and analytic in problem solving
High accountability and ownership to drive closure of action items
