Senior Finance Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to automate finance processes using AI and digital tools
• Apply AI to analyse financial data, identify anomalies, trends and business risks.
• Support implementation of finance automation initiatives such as workflow automation, reconciliation automation and reporting automation.
• Preparation of tax submissions including sales service tax, import service tax, and withholding tax.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepare reports and analysis related to accounts receivable
• Generate monthly statements for customers
• Review accounts receivable aging to ensure compliance
• Address customer queries and resolve any issues
• Prepare Interco billing invoice and Interco movement details
• Support month-end closing activities
• Assist with statutory audit requirements
• Assist with Treasury related matter
• Manage subsidiary company management accounts
• Identify problematic accounts and provide regular updates to management
• Collaborate with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure financial accuracy
  
  
  

Requirements

• Possess minimum 3 years’ working experience in financial and management reporting.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinking but also hands on and able to deep dive into details as required.
• Great communication skills and able to present complex issues in a simple and structured manner.
• Able to think and work systematically to identify and recommend process changes to improve work effectiveness and efficiencies, and controls.
• Ability to work with tight time frames, assist in direct, supervise and coach subordinates, multi-task, manage resource usage efficiently and priorities task for timely completion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products is a must (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Global/Regional Finance for compliance, accounting processes, systems and control environment is an advantage
