This role is responsible for managing and executing purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and aligning procurement processes with company goals and objectives.

Our Team
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Planning, Production, Delivery Management, Finance, Warehouse & Logistics, Product Management, Sourcing, Project Management, and Quality functions.
You will also engage with internal stakeholders across Molex entities as well as external suppliers to support seamless purchasing operations.
What You Will Do
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process (PR to PO to delivery) in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives (DSI, excess reduction, stock accuracy) and align with departmental KPIs.
- Collaborate with Planning, Production, Logistics, Finance, and Warehouse teams to align demand, supply, and delivery timelines.
- Forecast demand and plan inventory to support uninterrupted production and supply continuity.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues with minimal business impact.
- Resolve purchasing issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, and supplier disputes in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key and strategic suppliers.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and compliance, and drive performance improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers and QA to address and resolve quality-related issues while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate purchasing records, reporting, and documentation for audit and compliance readiness.
- Apply data analysis and reporting tools to improve procurement effectiveness and support decision-making.
- Drive execution of department KPIs such as delivery performance, lead time, inventory health, and supplier performance.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and proactively escalate and implement mitigation actions.
- Contribute to process improvements, digitization, and reduction of manual tasks to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in and support procurement strategy implementation aligned with business objectives.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset in daily operations.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Ability to analyze data for demand forecasting, inventory planning, and purchasing decision-making.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, or similar) and standard compliance requirements (ISO, RBA, etc.).
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with a positive attitude and a strong focus on expediting and cost efficiency.
- Mature, able to multitask effectively, and a strong team player.
