Your Job

As a Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer, you are responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the organization’s quality management system to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3). This role is responsible for driving the internal audit program, managing document control, and coordinating Process Change Notifications (PCN) to support continuous improvement.

Our Team

You will be part of the Quality Excellence Team within the Quality Division, working closely with stakeholders across the organization. The team plays a critical role in maintaining the Quality Management System in alignment with standard requirements and customer-specific requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure and evaluate the adequacy of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3) plant-wide, ensuring compliance with the company’s mission and goals.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the existing quality management system, including oversight of internal QMS processes.
  • Organize and facilitate the annual management review, ensuring comprehensive reporting and follow-up actions.
  • Secure successful QMS certifications and manage external audits conducted by certification bodies and customers.
  • Lead the Internal Audit Program, ensuring comprehensive planning, effective execution, and timely closure of actions.
  • Drive and manage the document control function plant-wide, including document confidentiality.
  • Represent the site as the Global Change Management Local Coordinator, ensuring participation and execution in compliance with the Global Change Management Policy.
  • Manage UL and CSA product safety requirements, including acting as the liaison with relevant agencies for the site.
  • Manage Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) and customer survey processes, coordinating responses and driving internal compliance.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management Systems, with strong proficiency in auditing practices.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and the 5 Core Tools.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools for documentation and quality management.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent advanced auditing credentials.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) for quality metrics and reporting.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets and procurement processes within tooling or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and change management skills to align quality initiatives with business objectives.
