Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all incoming, in-process, and finished products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. No off-spec products are allowed to be released.
- Review and approve laboratory results, Certificate of Analysis, and product release before dispatch.
- Supervise daily Quality Control laboratory activities and ensure all testing follows standard operating procedures, good manufacturing processes, and safety requirements.
- Investigate product quality issues, out-of-specification results, and lab non-conformances, and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor quality trends and prepare daily & monthly Quality Control reports for management.
- Provide technical support and advise Production and other departments on quality issues.
- Ensure lab instruments are maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
- Coordinate with Sales, ICA, and PID on customer sample preparation and technical support.
- Create material codes for new products and advise ICA/PID on specifications and material tail codes.
- Act as Food Safety Leader and Halal Executive II and ensure all Critical Control Points / Hazard Control Points are verified and validated.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Halal, RSPO, MSPO, SEDEX, ISCC and other requirements.
- Complete customer questionnaires and technical documents related to Quality Control.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in laboratory, quality control, or research & development.
- Solid understanding of Certificate of Analysis (COA) preparation, review, and approval processes.
- Knowledge of ISO/GMP/GLP standards
- Familiarity with quality documentation systems and Laboratory Information Management Systems
- Leadership and team management, high attention to detail and accuracy
