We are seeking a Senior recruiter/Team lead to manage our onsite recruitment operations at a client location. This role involves leading a team of recruiters while also remaining hands‑on in recruitment delivery. This dual responsibility ensures both effective team management and direct contribution to meeting the client’s hiring needs .The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in recruitment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with strategic talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Team management: Lead, coach, and support a team of recruiters working onsite, ensuring they meet hiring targets and follow best practices.
Client liaison: Act as the main point of contact for the client, understanding their workforce needs, providing updates, and building strong relationships.
Hands‑on recruitment: Actively participate in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to meet urgent or high‑priority hiring needs.
Recruitment delivery: Oversee the end‑to‑end recruitment process — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding — to ensure timely and quality hires.
Performance tracking: Monitor recruitment metrics (time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire, quality of hire) and report progress to both client and internal leadership.
Process improvement: Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement more efficient recruitment strategies.
Employer branding: Support the client’s brand in the talent market by ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership skills – ability to mentor recruiters and drive team performance.
- Strong communication – to manage client expectations and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Recruitment expertise – hands‑on experience with sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Analytical ability – track KPIs and use data to improve recruitment outcomes.
- Adaptability – able to adjust strategies based on client needs and market changes
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years focused on direct labour/manufacturing roles.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s labour market and workforce regulations.
