Senior Security Guard

As a Senior Security Guard, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's assets, employees, and facilities in Malaysia. This vital role involves implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures, managing security systems, conducting thorough investigations when necessary, and ensuring strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations. You will also play a key role in emergency response and crisis management efforts.

• Perform comprehensive routine guard duties and patrols as directed, maintaining a vigilant presence across the premises.
• Assist the Security Executive in manpower planning and scheduling, and supervise the daily activities and performance of outsourced security personnel.
• Maintain accurate security records, daily logs, and prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and tasks completed.
• Inspect, monitor, and control the movement of all vehicles (including lorries), personnel (workers), and visitors entering and exiting the company premises.
• Conduct thorough checks of tank seals and inspect for any gaps or discrepancies between incoming and outgoing containers to prevent theft or tampering.
• Strictly monitor and control the ingress and egress of workers, particularly during night shifts, to ensure authorized access only.
• Accurately register and log all contract workers, visitors, contractors, and vehicles upon their entry to the premises.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergency situations, and security breaches.
• Conduct initial investigations into security incidents, thefts, or policy violations and report findings to the Security Executive.
• Ensure all security equipment, including CCTV and access control systems, are functioning correctly and report any malfunctions.
• Educate and guide staff and visitors on security procedures and protocols.
  
  

REQUIREMENT

• Min SPM in any field is required
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Security industry
• Strong understanding of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
• Proficiency in operating and monitoring security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and interaction.
• Ability to act calmly, quickly, and effectively in emergency and high-pressure situations.
• Basic computer literacy for record-keeping, email, and report generation.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
• Knowledge of local security laws and regulations in Malaysia.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
