Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Do “Whatever it takes” to meet or exceed our customers' expectations in compliance to OTD 95%.
- Coordinate flow and documentation of export procedures.
- Assist & Support in all shipping import/ export activities which deem necessary.
- Be aware of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 procedures and policies.
- Project improvement as required.
- Responsible & Oversee Outbound activities such as:-
- Physical Shipment verification (shipment box labels/ shipping documents) and shipment release to forwarder
- Send booking confirmation to nominated forwarder for shipment under Ex-works & FCA/ FOB
- Monitor shipped shipments based on Fedex/ DHL pending list
- Resolve and reply to queries from Courier/ customer/ Forwarders.
- Co-ordinate & Send shipping documents to forwarders/ courier express for custom declaration before cut-off time.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales/ Planners for Customer Special Request (Palletization, Arrival Ship Notice, Oracle Transportation Management System Entry)
- Attend to audit request for retrieval of shipping documents
- Verifying Billing Invoice from forwarders
- Sourcing and Negotiation of Freight for shipment above 250 kgs
- Segregation and Sorting of Approved Custom Form for Filing
- Any other ad-hoc request as directed by superior from time to time.
- A bachelor’s degree in Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or its equivalents with at least 02 years of relevant work experience in shipping/ logistics in a MNC with high mix high volume manufacturing environment.. (functional skills)
- Must be PC literate in spreadsheet applications, knowledgeable & experience in warehousing or logistics management will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and reporting of information/data.
- Possess logical thinking and analytical thinking skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp internally or externally.
- This role is onsite
- Willing to travel to custom offices to resolve issues.
