Senior Specialist Environment, Safety & Health

Support the implementation of the IMPRES (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001) Management System and coordinate improvement programs and activities related to system requirements and compliance.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Conduct assessments on Legal and Other Applicable Requirements, including Malaysian Acts and Regulations, Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), and POM requirements.
• Carry out the IMPRES internal audit program.
• Maintain the ESH performance dashboard and provide monthly analysis reports for continual improvement initiatives.
• Promote safety and health awareness among employees and contractors through inductions, training sessions, and campaigns.
• Perform machine buy-off activities and monitor safety issues related to buildings, equipment, machinery, and processes. Well-versed in safety and health requirements for infrastructure, equipment installations, and production processes.
• Administer local authorities’ safety and health licenses and permits for machinery such as pressure vessels, lifts, and hoists. Well-versed in legal requirements, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations, as well as corporate policies and process descriptions.
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field with 5 years of working experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) / OYKSHO.
• Internal Auditor for OHSMS and EMS.
• Strong hands-on knowledge and skills in the assembly area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Statistical data analysis skills, including Design of Experiments (DOE).
