We are looking for Service Leader – Procurementto join our team!
As a Service Leader – Procurement, we rely on you to
- acts as coordinators to various divisions department staff and ensure an efficient filling system to obtain result on procurement functions.
- Ensure that goods being ordered are delivered on time and in good quality.
- Interact closely with operating equipment and other F&B supplier.
- Consolidate food products for better price negotiation and contracts.
- Source quotations from suppliers to ensure purchases are made in the best interest of the company.
- Process assigned PR’s.
- Performs market survey, including competitor hotels and make comparison with current suppliers prices to ensure competitiveness.
- Maintain & regularly update vendor profile files to comply with the Shangri-La requirements.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Diploma, Degree or any relevant certification in the field.
- Preferably with atleast 2 years work experience in Procurement/Sourcing from any business industry.
- Has good communication and people management skills.
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Able to communicate priorities and drives business results.
- Demonstrate high level of integrity and honesty.
- Smart with pleasing personality. Has good negotiation skills.
- A self-starter and customer-oriented.
- Displays initiative, commitment to professional values.
- Is a critical thinker and a problem-solver.
- Is knowledgeable in any Procurement System (i.e. SCM, SAP, etc.)
- Is proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
