As our SPARE-PARTS CLERK you’ll support HID’s success by:

Summary

The Spare Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing, controlling, and monitoring spare parts inventory to ensure smooth maintenance operations and minimizing machine downtime.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Utilize Excel for data collection and tracking, including monitoring Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), spare parts sent for repair, equipment records, and sonotrode control.
  • Manage and update the DAS spare parts management system to ensure accurate and real-time inventory records.
  • Verify and check Delivery Orders (DO) and Invoices against Purchase Orders and received items to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform monthly inventory stock count and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Support all other activities related to spare parts management and inventory control.
  • Comply with all environmental control procedures
  • Any other task that is assigned by Spare Part Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to carry out the essential duties effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the required basic knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. Education And/or Experience

  • SPM holder and equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in spare parts management, maintenance store operations, or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.

Language Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in Malay, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, is an added advantage.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, and simple calculations.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Extra Skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time management.
  • Basic technical knowledge related to mechanical and electrical spare parts.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
