Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Drive and involve in material cost down projects to achieve operation productivity target.
- Responsible to derive operation direct material supplier source strategy / roadmap.
- Responsible for 2nd source supplier qualification/business continuity to secure material supply.
- Make recommendation & material selection based on quality, reliability & manufacturability.
- Drive material cost down and secure material supply through identifying and qualifying alternate material types, supplier / source or suppliers’ production location.
- Responsible for technical troubleshooting on material deviations and collaborate with cluster functions to restore supply and prevent line down.
- Responsible for the development and sustenance of technical engineering know-how of workforce.
- Interface with Business Unit and other cluster functions for materials related topics.
- Responsible for material (released) related specification / requirement via GCM.
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Degree in Material/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or any equivalent engineering discipline.
- 5 years working experiences in semiconductor assembly manufacturing environment is preferred.
