Job Description
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-efficient acquisition of materials and services.
- Lead demand and supply planning to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
- Monitor supplier performance and establish strong relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
- Analyze supply chain data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies within the supply chain framework.
- Mentor and develop the supply chain and planning team to achieve performance goals.
A Successful Supply Chain & Planning Director Should Have
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in procurement, supply chain, and planning within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements.
- Experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from MYR 360000 to MYR 400000.
