Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage production teams, drive continuous improvement, and support TE Connectivity’s commitment to operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve output and quality goals.
  • Monitor production schedules, resources, and manpower allocation to ensure smooth operations.
  • Enforce safety and compliance standards within the production area.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production operators and line leaders for improved performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
  • Prepare and review production reports, ensuring accuracy in data tracking and documentation.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
