Your Role: Team Lead, Order Management (Australia, New Zealand)
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end order management operations for assigned APAC affiliates, ensuring delivery in compliance with company policies, financial controls, and statutory requirements.
- Be accountable for the day-to-day performance, service delivery and governance of a work unit, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Drive operational excellence by connecting people, processes, and systems to enhance customer experience and strengthen order-to-cash outcomes.
- Act as a change leader and advisor, influencing both team members and management on improvements and operational decisions.
Operational Leadership & Execution
- Oversee the full order-to-cash cycle, including order processing, fulfillment coordination, billing, and issue resolution.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all operational activities within the team.
- Manage workload distribution and ensure optimal resource utilization within the work unit.
- Monitor and ensure achievement of SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery targets
- Provide formal supervision and direction to the team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Build team capability through structured training, knowledge sharing, and continuous development.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and customer service excellence.
- Act as primary escalation points for complex customer or operational issues.
- Influence internal stakeholders and management on key decisions impacting order management processes and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (logistics, finance, and commercial teams) to resolve systemic issues impacting revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Make operational decisions for the work unit and provide input into broader business decisions
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex or non-standard issues with minimal precedent
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant for escalations and process challenges
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including automation, standardization, and efficiency enhancements
- Ensure strong adherence to SOX Controls, audit requirements, and internal compliance frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement culture and proactively challenge existing processes.
- Lead and coordinate smaller projects and contribute to larger transformation initiatives.
- Drive implementation of system enhancements and process optimization programs
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities with ability to manage and develop a team
- Broad and deep knowledge across order management processes and related finance functions.
- Strong decision-making skills with accountability for operational outcomes
- Advanced problem-solving capability, including handling ambiguous and complex scenarios
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- High customer orientation with ability to align resource to deliver business outcomes
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proven ability to drive change initiatives.
- Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration with > 8 years of related industry experience or equivalent in Order Management or other accounting function in an MNC or Shared Service.
- Proficiency, knowledge, and understanding of Order Management and Accounting Functions
- Proficiency, knowledge, and experience of operating ERP system SAP module and MS Office Tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using ServiceNow or Salesforce is a plus but not required.
- Experience in leading teams, managing KPIs, and driving operational performance
- Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Proficient in English is mandatory; multilingualism is required if you support Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand and Vietnam
