The Deals team is a global leader in investment banking transaction data, providing industry-leading coverage of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), new issues, private equity funds, and infrastructure transactions. This role leads a team of 10–15 professionals responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and comprehensive content that supports customers across global financial markets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operations of the team, driving performance excellence and ensuring the achievement of business objectives, service standards, and key performance metrics.

Champion operational excellence by leading, delivering, or supporting strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, improve data quality, and elevate the customer experience.

Set clear goals and performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide coaching and development opportunities that enable team members to grow and succeed.

Foster an inclusive, high-performing, and engaged team culture by communicating a clear vision, recognizing contributions, and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.

Collaborate optimally with local and global stakeholders, including Content Management and cross-functional partners, to deliver business priorities and drive organizational success.

Lead and support change initiatives, promoting innovation and continuous improvement while embodying and reinforcing LSEG's values and behaviors.

Develop future talent by supporting continuous learning, succession planning, and career development across the Deals, Private Equity, and Infrastructure content teams.

Attract, recruit, and retain diverse talent, ensuring the team has the capabilities required to meet current and future business needs.

Establish and promote best practices, encouraging knowledge sharing and consistency across Deals Content teams globally.

Act as a trusted leader and role model, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a customer-centric mindset.
Qualifications

Experience leading teams and effectively handling people, performance, and operational priorities.

Strong understanding of workforce planning, finance processes, and relevant human resources policies and practices.

Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, and the ability to balance multiple demands in a dynamic environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated ability to lead change, challenge existing processes constructively, and drive continuous improvement.

Experience managing difficult conversations, resolving conflicts, and implementing corrective actions when required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Proven ability to inspire and implement change while fostering collaboration and engagement.

Highly customer-focused, with a passion for delivering accurate, timely, and impactful content and services.

Knowledge of Deals, Private Equity, Infrastructure, or broader financial markets content is an advantage.

Additional language skills like Mandarin is good-to-have for understanding contents.
