Tech II/Senior Tech/AE1 Product Technician

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Support NPI/HVM manufacturing line in the assembly, testing and evaluation of new Optical Transceiver products.
• Manage special build assembly run, monitor and coordinate WIP movement till job order closure in system and physical.
• Assist team to gather data, disposition, analyze data, failure analysis, root cause and corrective action.
• Assist cross function team on system step routing and transaction.
• Interpret mechanical drawing for measurement analysis.
• Exposure to VMI using low and high scope magnification.
• Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electrical.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in MNC industries, preferably 5 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
• Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of MES/shop floor system and product life cycle management.
• Able to work under pressure doing multiple tasks with coordinating and expediate mode.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
• Knowledge in laser components or Optical Transceiver are added advantage.
  
  

Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage
