Summary

The Technical Support Engineer within the Product Management team will serve as a vital link between market demands, product development, and business strategy execution. The role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and technology advancements in the HVAC and Building Automation industries to drive innovation and deliver premier solutions. The individual will manage the product lifecycle, collaborate with regional and global teams, and ensure alignment in product strategies to meet business goals

What You'll Do

• Understand market trends, drivers, challenges, and customer needs to effectively prioritize, draft, and execute strategic business plans.
• Develop product strategies and lifecycle plans, evaluating build/buy/partner options and articulating business value for investment proposals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement product launch plans, ensuring smooth market introduction.
• Analyze market data and competitor offerings to support new product requests, ensuring pricing, marketing strategies, and overall benefits align with customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with Asia Pacific regions and global counterparts, including headquarters, EMEA, and America, to capture market insights and ensure regional requirements are reflected in global product scopes.
• Work with sales, marketing, and content development teams to implement effective strategies and ensure a unified vision for product development.
• Provide technical expertise and support in HVAC systems including Chiller Plant, PAUs, AHUs, fan extraction systems, VAV systems, and data center fan wall applications.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with business objectives.
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Building Automation, HVAC, Electronics, or Information Engineering; advanced HVAC-related knowledge or certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry or related fields, preferably in damper actuators, pressure control and VAV systems, and building fire and smoke systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems such as Chiller Plant, PAUs, AHUs, fan extraction systems, VAV systems, and data center fan wall applications.
• Experience in data center HVAC or critical environment applications, including cooling systems, airflow management, redundancy concepts, high-availability operation requirements, project coordination with consultants, contractors, OEMs and end users, and the ability to translate application requirements into product selection and technical support solutions.
• Strong command of written and spoken English with mandatory fluency in Mandarin; proficiency in MS Office is required, with SAP and CRM knowledge preferred.
• Expert knowledge in technical risk evaluation and decision-making processes, with willingness to travel within AP, Europe, and the USA as required.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, suppliers, management teams, and multicultural stakeholders.
• Strategic, open-minded, adaptable, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while fostering teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.
