The Trade Marketing Executive (Food Service Business) plays a vital role in bridging sales and brand marketing to strengthen Ajinomoto’s presence within the HORECA channel (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes, Catering, and Food Manufacturers). This position focuses on developing and executing trade programs, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring effective product visibility and promotion in the Food Service market. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the executive will support sales growth, brand activation, and new business opportunities across Malaysia’s dynamic Food Service segment.

  • Develop & Execute Trade Programs: Plan, implement, and evaluate trade marketing campaigns, promotions, and activities for HORECA and distributor partners.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide POS materials, product information, and promotional tools to achieve sales targets.
  • Trade & Customer Relationship: Build strong relationships with key distributors, chefs, and business owners to ensure visibility and product penetration.
  • Product Visibility & Merchandising: Manage trade channel displays and merchandising to maximize product exposure and brand presence.
  • Market & Competitor Insights: Track competitor activities, market trends, and promotion performance to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Training & Communication: Conduct product and brand training sessions for distributor sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize trade marketing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • New Business Support: Contribute to identifying and developing new business opportunities and applications within the Food Service channel.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Food Services Management, Mass Communications, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing / Brand / Sales within FMCG or Food Service industries.
  • Experience in HORECA or B2B Food Service preferred.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, Chinese language for both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willing to travel and work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Junior & Senior position are available.
