Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Lead the warehouse training strategy and execution.
- Manage new hire onboarding and employee certification programs.
- As part of SME to develop the SOP, ensure compliance with SOP, Quality, Safety, and customer training requirements.
- Maintain training records and audit readiness.
- Monitor workforce competency and drive continuous improvement in training effectiveness.
- Lead and develop the warehouse training team
- May expand the scope to other warehouses in Asia
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from training manager
- Accountable for the results of a large and/or moderately complex support or production operations team including subordinate work leaders
- Applies acquired expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent
- Provides input on resource planning and policy development
- Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work
- Certified six sigma green belt preferred.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners. experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiations skills.
- Ability to build good relationship with customers, suppliers, and internally with cross function teams.
- Resilience, energetic and positive attitude.
