About The Role

The role involves providing support to Warehouse Executives in inventory management, documentation, and data maintenance. Responsibilities include booking transport for chilled products, coordinating stock transfers, assisting in warehouse organization, and collaborating with internal teams and external parties. Additionally, the position involves handling ad-hoc tasks and communicating effectively within the supply chain and production functions.

Reporting To Production and Warehouse Manager

Key responsibilities

• Inventory Management Support to Warehouse Executive
• Documentation & filing for overall Warehouse Operations
• Data Maintenance for Warehouse Operations
• Transport Booking for Chilled products to 3PL upon liaising with Site Schedulers/Planning Team
• Communication with transporters for timely and efficient stock transfers towards destination
• Assists on the organization of the warehouse with executives.
• Support ad-hoc task project & assignments by superiors
• Collaborate internally with warehouse section leads to gather data collection.
• Communication towards cross function sections especially within Supply Chain material planners / schedulers + overall production functions
• Internal & external emailing
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• At least Higher Secondary Education / Diploma in any discipline (Logistics background would be advantage)
• 2 - 3 working experience would be an advantage, but fresh graduates can be considered based on their background
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Proficient writing/verbal communication in English/Bahasa Melayu would be an advantage.
• Strong computer literacy, Advanced MS Excel / PowerPoint Skills required.
• Competencies in data entry, analysis, prepare presentation slides for management review.
• SAP system / Warehouse management system knowledge would be an extra edge.
• Familiarity with standard concepts & best practices in warehousing environment
• Analytical mind & ability to work in a fast pace's environment
• Able to multitask.
