- Basic accounting knowledge (e.g., debits, credits, financial statements, etc.).
- Bank reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and that records are up to date.
- Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payments are received.
- Prepare and send account statements, reminders, and collection letters.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue accounts and assist in resolving disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debtor accounts.
- Reconcile debtor accounts and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents and ensure they are filed in a systematic and accessible manner for future reference and audits.
- Process payments and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues affecting debtor accounts.
- Assist in year-end audit and tax compliance preparation
- Preparation & handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior
