Your Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy within your assigned customer segments. Your primary focus will be on increasing market share and driving growth in the Life Science industry. You will achieve this by working with a high-performing sales team and fostering strong relationships with key accounts.
This position reports to the Head of Commercial Malaysia and based in Malaysia.

Your Role

This position reports to the Head of Commercial Malaysia and based in Malaysia.
What You Do
- Drive business growth within the Life Science sector by identifying and pursuing new prospects.
- Expand the customer portfolio and segment reach by identifying potential clients.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage and meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Plan, organize, and implement business development initiatives, including enhancing the customer database.
- Support and execute approved business development programs.
- Provide detailed sales analysis and forecasting reports to your line manager
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships, delivering tailored solutions to meet specific needs.
- Engage with customers to strengthen relationships and gather valuable market insights.
- Gather market info and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies and enhance portfolio offerings.
- Degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry or relevant scientific or business discipline.
- 4 - 9 years’ experience in a sales management role within the life sciences industry.
- Proven ability to influence and sell to all levels
- Excellent presentation skills to communicate effectively to all levels
- Strong knowledge about customers, competition landscape and market trend
- Diligent and effective getting things done with good knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce
