We're thrilled to announce the opening for an Account Manager. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will ensure optimal distribution of our iconic brands in all assigned accounts, maximize brand presence through effective merchandising, and develop outlet consumer experiences via active engagement and brand activation plans. You will be responsible for proactively identifying potential accounts, negotiating and implementing promotions, and achieving monthly and cumulative collection targets. Apart from managing sales targets and updating Aspire, you will work in close collaboration with the management team, ensuring compliance and bringing to life our iconic brands through passionate storytelling to build brand desirability.

Job Responsibilities

How you will contribute…

  • Business Partnering
    • Ensure optimal distribution of our iconic Brands in all assigned accounts (Off-trades)
    • Maximize brand presence of key products through effective merchandising efforts at trade level.
    • Focus and attend to consumer’s demand and create a “pull mentality.”
    • Develop outlet’s consumer experience by active engagement and implementation on brands activation plans.
    • Focus on consumer groups & different consumption trends.
    • Focus on efficient portfolio management of product.
    • Develop and maintain amicable relationship with key customers.
  • Planning and Activations
    • Proactively identifying potential accounts, negotiate and implement promotion action in line with agreed standards.
    • Regular feedback and evaluation for management review
  • Control
    • Constantly review and make recommendations to immediate superior, the appropriate level of credit and decoration to trade accounts to ensure credit exposure risks to the company are minimized.
    • Ensure monthly and cumulative collection targets set by the management are achieved through proactive management of all trade receivables.
  • Sales Management
    • To fully cover the existing active accounts which assigned to, identify new potential accounts to growth the current universe.
    • Fulfill sales related target set by sales management, achieving the given yearly revenue target.
    • Provide timely and accurate information for the updating of Aspire.
    • Full engagement with Salesforce and QLIK in tracking and reporting of Aspire Adoption KPI’s (customer segmentation, surveys, meeting notes, activations etc.)
  • Compliance
    • Ensure that compliance and adherence to policies and procedures is a fundamental way of working. Throughout the MHDM business we will focus on and model the highest levels of compliance and integrity.
  • Storytelling
    • Bring to life our iconic brands through the sharing of our heritage with passion and expertise.
    • Showcase the crafting of our exceptional products, highlighting the benefits and values of our portfolio.
    • Embody the art of luxury in all communications, also demonstrating the elegance of our curated service rituals.
    • Be an inspirational leader, striving for a culture of excellence to build brand desirability.
    • Highlight our uniqueness vs. competition through best practice Storytelling and sharing of market leading business insights with your customers.
  • Others
    • Participate in regular state sales meetings to review and update market trends, exchange information, share best practices, and contribute to the overall development of the company’s sales organization.
    • Represent MH Values and Crafting Experiences.
Profile

  • Experience in sales, account management, or other related areas.
  • Proven experience in off-trade sales, with a focus on Chinese Independent Retailers and Large Provision stores.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Effective, agile, hungry to develop the business and engage with customers.
  • Inspiring, customer-focused, entrepreneurial, innovative.
  • Strong emphasis on compliance, integrity, and social sustainability.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Thorough Wine/Spirit product knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Able to be based in the Northern Region.
  • Fluent in Mandarin or any Chinese dialects.
