About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic team at KUMARI PALANY & CO. (Seremban), located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform general bookkeeping duties such as data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with stock management
  • Prepare and file necessary tax documents and returns
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies

What we're looking for

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar Accounts Clerk role, preferably within the Accounting industry
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and accounting best practices
