About the role

Utopia Borneo Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Admin Cum HR to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full-time role will provide administrative and HR support to our growing business, playing a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, including diary management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination and general office duties
  • Handling tasks such as recruitment, onboarding, employee records management and benefits administration
  • Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to address queries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance
  • Contributing to the development of administrative systems and processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as required to support the broader business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or HR assistant role, ideally within a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and experience in administrative software and HR systems
  • Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work
