AP Manager (2-Year Contract)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to oversee all accounts payable activities for the company. This role includes performing payment disbursements, managing the AP invoice team, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely clearance of vendor invoices, and adherence to company guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting timely reconciliations with key vendors and preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accounts payable aging, GRIR clearing, prepayment accounts and timely payment to vendors.

What You'll Do

As an AP Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing all accounts payable activities for the company. You will lead the AP team in performing payment disbursements and ensuring accurate invoice processing. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in conducting timely reconciliations with key vendors and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Your knowledge in SAP AP module will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with procure-to-pay (PTP) controls.

• Perform payment disbursements and manage the AP invoice team
• Ensure accurate invoice processing, timely clearance of vendor invoices, and adherence to company guidelines
• Conduct timely reconciliations with key vendors
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accounts payable aging, GRIR clearing, prepayment accounts and timely payment to vendors
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
• Maintain compliance with procure-to-pay (PTP) controls
  
  

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this AP Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance or accounting along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the F&B or FMCG industry, you are familiar with Malaysia SST rules and have strong knowledge in SAP AP module. Your resourcefulness, meticulousness, and strong analytical skills set you apart from others. Most importantly, your proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively will be critical to your success in this role.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role in F&B or FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge in SAP AP module
• Familiarity with Malaysia SST rules
• Resourceful, meticulous and possess strong analytical skill
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
