Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team at Camozzi. This role is crucial in supporting our clients with in-depth technical expertise on our products and applications, ensuring their success and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a high-level application expert, providing top-notch technical consulting and solutions for key applications to sales teams and customers in targeted industry segments.
• Assess the commercial and technical feasibility of proposals, leveraging your technical knowledge specific to the industry.
• Propose tailored solutions for customers in accordance with industry regulations.
• Act as the primary interface between customers and relevant internal departments during the pre-sales phase, collaborating closely with the sales engineer.
• Deliver technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer to the Sales Team regarding specific products and applications relevant to the industry segment.
• Identify and secure projects based on exceptional application, automation, and sector expertise.
• Support product introductions through training, including onsite assistance during commissioning.
• Identify standardized applications and functional solutions, developing application descriptions to meet customer needs.
• Actively contribute as a team player on key projects for defined AE Focus Customers.
• Lead technical discussions during the pre-sales phase to ensure clear communication and understanding.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Automation, E&E, or related field.
• Proven experience in Automation with PLC or PC control is preferable.
• Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages including C-programming knowledge, and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems and HMI technologies.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific applications and technologies.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills to collaborate in fast-paces, action-oriented team.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
