Application Engineer, Robotic

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers and internal sales teams, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Develop and implement software for robotic systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and customer needs.
• Conduct electrical engineering tasks such as wiring, sensor integration, and system commissioning.
• Perform testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, training materials, and customer reports.
• Identify product issues, liaise with overseas suppliers, and prepare warranty claim reports when necessary.
• Assist in product demonstrations and customer training sessions to showcase the capabilities of our robotics solutions.
• Generate weekly technical activity reports.

People Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in engineering or a related field (Mechatronics or E&E will be an advantage).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (experience in related fields and project planning will be an advantage).
• Experience with industrial robots, AGVs, cobots, or motion control systems will be an advantage.
• Basic programming knowledge in PLC or PC-based languages will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and automation.
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess own car for local customer travel.
• Overseas or outstation travel may be required.
• Based in Georgetown, Penang.
