The position
Will provide management and supervision of the Application Engineering team, to support production engineering capability and engineering support for systems manufacture and project management activities.
Main Responsibilities
Will provide management and supervision of the Application Engineering team, to support production engineering capability and engineering support for systems manufacture and project management activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide management and supervision of Application Engineering team.
- Make design decisions supported by reference to standards and/or calculations.
- Develop and improve engineering processes and standards.
- Manage and develop competence of the engineering team.
- Ensure high level of quality for engineering outputs.
- Manage the workload of the engineering team and ensure on time delivery of the solution design.
- Production of technical or engineering design support information and drawings for project management and other inter departmental staff.
- Woking in close collaboration with the project management team, manufacturing teams and field application engineers teams.
- Lead continuous improvement for the engineering topics.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Previous Management / Supervisory experience beneficial for at least 3 years.
- Experience in an uninterruptible power equipment or industrial switchgear manufacturing environment beneficial.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to successfully interface with various departments and personnel at all levels.
- Experience with software’s like Eplan, 3D SolidEdge or ProPanel.
- Multi-tasking ability with a flexible approach to work.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
