- Sales Growth: Develop and implement regional trade strategies and action plans.
- Team Leadership: Manage a direct report, sales team, and Preferred Distributors (PDs).
- Efficiency Management: Optimize trade spend and route to market.
- Forecast Accuracy: Ensure accurate forecasting and meet forecast bias.
Commercial Deliverables
- Monitor sales achievements and initiate programs to meet targets.
- Ensure accurate monthly sales forecasts and sufficient stock in PD warehouses.
- Achieve sales targets and profit objectives for PDs and Local Key Accounts Supermarkets.
- Manage and optimize trade funds and achieve planned trade spend KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to extend distribution and increase sales through promotions.
- Understand category marketing by channel and develop commercial strategies for General Trade.
- Track and analyze promotional activities and trade investments.
- Coordinate promotion execution between sales teams, PDs, and retailers.
- Drive sales through collaboration with supply chain and demand planners.
- Conduct weekly trade visits to monitor sales force execution.
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with PDs and top management.
- Ensure efficiency in active selling outlets and focus on MUST SELL list.
- Follow up on key deliverables and execute action plans.
- Manage monthly route, census checks, call cards, and chiller deployments.
- Ensure PD inventory meets business needs and stock cover expectations.
- Collaborate with demand planners and supply chain to meet regional KPIs.
- Develop talent and foster a high-performance culture.
Line Manager: National Sales Operation Manager (Central & East Coast)
Skills And Experience
- Knowledge: Business Graduate.
- Skills: Minimum 5 years in FMCG industry, strong leadership, interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, resilience, positive attitude, and analytical abilities.
- Experience: 4 years in managing General Trade in FMCG independently, strong portfolio in General Trade, and proven sales track record, with 3 years in managerial role.
