Your Role And Responsibilities
IBM’s Corporate Affairs’ team accelerates IBM's growth by advancing and defending IBM's reputation, persuading external and internal audiences, and driving brand consideration. We do this by illustrating IBM's strategy, innovation and industry leadership with clients, investors, media, analysts, employees, policy influencers, and other key stakeholders.
As part of ASEAN team, you will help shape and protect IBM’s reputation through compelling, consistent, and strategic external communications by bring the IBM narrative to life—demonstrating how our technology and expertise creates impact for clients, industries, and society.
You’ll play a key role in driving awareness of IBM’s strategic priorities, supporting business growth, and reinforcing our leadership in the tech industry.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
You will develop communications plans and strategies, collaborate on messaging architecture that helps the company's mission, and supports the business with messages and success stories that promote IBM's leadership. You will also help drive visibility for IBM key businesses across media and social platforms by managing effective relationships, collaborating across IBM to develop unified influencer plans to increase the understanding of IBM strategies and offerings in the market, and driving market leadership/differentiation overall.

- Conceptualize and execute external communication strategies to drive greater visibility and thought leadership for the IBM brand in ASEAN.
- Build and manage mindshare for the IBM brand and capabilities by leveraging relationships with key media and various external stakeholders in the region.
- Develop and craft compelling content and messaging for key IBM imperatives aligned to business strategies.
- Localise global narratives, conceptualise ASEAN wide campaigns, that support country specific national agenda to drive consistent storytelling.
- Partner with business leaders and marketing teams to tell success stories and bring IBM’s differentiators to the forefront.
- Collaborate with analyst relations, social media and global team to identify opportunities for storytelling
- Stay ahead of the curve by bringing fresh thinking, innovation, and creativity to external engagement strategies.
