Asia Pacific Technical Sales Lead

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will have the opportunity to expand the sales of the SGT-A05 gas turbine (4-6 MW) across the entire South East Asia, South Asia and Middle East regions. This role will be working with the global SGT-A05 sales team and regional teams for both new unit and service opportunities. These regions have traditionally been dominated by Solar Turbines and Kawasaki in this power range, so we are looking for someone that wants to find opportunities and fight for the business. The SGT-A05 business works through an external Packager and Maintenance network, so there will be opportunities to work and further develop our relationships with our partners. We are headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, USA and international travel will be expected.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Develop relationships with the customers and potential customers to help gain both service and new unit business
• Advise on pricing to get the highest margin for the products in the SE Asia, South Asia and ME regions
• Take full responsibility to deliver the sale for SGT-A05 products, including: approval for offers to the customers, scheduling and project management of the delivery of the product, commercial discussions and negotiation and customer satisfaction and project closeout.
• Potential to develop a Packager in the region to expand the SGT-A05 Business
• Attend conferences and call on customers as needed to expand the business.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Sales experience across new units and services is a plus
• Understanding of the small power market, competition and best approach to capture business.
• Understand financial and commercial implications of decisions and customer requirements
• Knowledge of the design, installation, commissioning and operation of gas turbine packages is a plus
• Ability to work across cultures.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
