Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and review accounting processes/policies to ensure accounting and financial reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for control and management purposes.
  • Perform management and financial reporting including general accounting support functions.
  • Ensure implementation of internal control and adherence of operating procedures to achieve compliance of company policies.
  • Lead/Participate in process improvements within financial team to achieve higher efficiencies.
  • Engage with external business stakeholders and partners for statutory and reporting regulatory.
  • Provide management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress in its various activities and programs.
  • Handle special/ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time.
  • Working closely with the tax department to comply with all tax requirements and ensure timely tax submissions.

Qualification

  • A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
  • Member of professional body (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA).
  • Minimum 4 years accounting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint, Words)
  • Proficient in SAP is an advantage
