Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate and review accounting processes/policies to ensure accounting and financial reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for control and management purposes.
- Perform management and financial reporting including general accounting support functions.
- Ensure implementation of internal control and adherence of operating procedures to achieve compliance of company policies.
- Lead/Participate in process improvements within financial team to achieve higher efficiencies.
- Engage with external business stakeholders and partners for statutory and reporting regulatory.
- Provide management with timely reviews of organization’s financial status and progress in its various activities and programs.
- Handle special/ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time.
- Working closely with the tax department to comply with all tax requirements and ensure timely tax submissions.
Qualification
- A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
- Member of professional body (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA).
- Minimum 4 years accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint, Words)
- Proficient in SAP is an advantage
